Misgav Newsletter Q4 2007

Volume 3 | Number 4

To complete a process that began in early 2007, we are pleased to unveil our new website. When we began our rebranding process, we made a conscious decision to save the website for last. With all of the other pieces in place (name, logo, brochure, exhibit booth), we were ready to turn our attention to the website.

Starting with material from our existing site, we reviewed, revised, redesigned, and restructured. We worked with Studio Oz to ensure that our new site design was consistent with our overall rebranded look. Other site highlights --
  • We added a "rockin'" Flash on the home page to present who we are and what we do.

  • We placed an "Investment Opportunities" box on the home page. Each month we will highlight companies that are in the process of searching for investments.

  • We reorganized the News page according to news about Misgav and news of our portfolio companies.

  • We refreshed our Companies page for easier navigation.
Take a look around www.misgav-venture.com. We hope you like it.

As 2007 year draws to a close, we wish our readers a healthy, happy, exciting, and prosperous 2008.

Welcome to Our Newest Portfolio Companies
  • Nephera is developing a kidney assist device for chronic kidney disease. Applying negative pressure surrounding the kidney is expected to increase renal perfusion, which is thought to have a therapeutic effect on diseased kidneys. Gill Bar-Yoseph is the company's CEO.

  • NeuroQuest develops diagnostic kits for the discovery of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and ALS. The kits will be based on the identification of specific markers for these diseases. Today, there are no diagnostic tests for neurodegenerative diseases, making early diagnosis difficult.
